• Discuss with your adviser your goals for your children's education. Your adviser would help you through the following questions.
  
  1. What are the current costs of the education we plan for our children?
  2. What level of "inflation" should we factor in?
  3. How many children do we expect to have to educate?
  4. How much of the cost do we intend to meet out of ongoing income?
  5. Are there sources of additional finance?
  6. Should we make use of a trust?
  7. Are we going to make use of student loans and government financing?
  8. How much provision are the children going to make for themselves at college?
  

• Your adviser would formulate a financial plan which would show you what you would need to do, to help you successfully achieve these goals.
• On an ongoing basis, your adviser would review your goals, and monitor the progress.
